From the Steve Grad Autograph Collection – a Beckett certified 8x10 color photograph signed by Christopher Plummer as General Chang from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). This autograph was personally obtained by Steve Grad in 1997 after a performance in Chicago, making it an authentic in-person signature with outstanding provenance.
About Christopher Plummer & General Chang:
Christopher Plummer delivered a powerful performance as General Chang, the Shakespeare-quoting Klingon warrior and chief antagonist in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
His portrayal gave the film one of its most memorable villains, combining menace, gravitas, and wit, and helping to conclude the original crew’s saga on a high note.
Beyond Star Trek, Plummer (1929–2021) enjoyed one of the most celebrated careers in stage and screen history, winning an Academy Award, two Emmys, and two Tonys across a career that spanned over six decades.
Rarity & Collector’s Notes:
Christopher Plummer autographs are extremely rare and highly forged in the marketplace.
Plummer was a notoriously reluctant signer, never responded to mail requests, and typically only signed for fans in person at select appearances.
This piece, obtained directly by Steve Grad in Chicago, carries unquestionable authenticity and collector confidence.
Signed photos of Plummer as General Chang are especially scarce, making this a centerpiece item for any Star Trek or classic Hollywood autograph collection.
