Star Wars ANH 8x10 BHS Signed Paul Blake Kay Freeborn Robbie Grantham BAS

From the Steve Grad Autograph Collection – offered here is an incredibly rare 8x10 behind-the-scenes photograph from Star Wars: A New Hope. This photo was taken on the set of the Millennium Falcon, showing Paul Blake (Greedo) in costume during production while makeup and effects are adjusted.

This unique behind-the-scenes photo has been signed by three key contributors:

• Paul Blake – the actor who portrayed the bounty hunter Greedo, one of the most memorable characters from A New Hope.

• Kay Freeborn (d. 2012) – wife and longtime collaborator of legendary makeup artist Stuart Freeborn, she worked directly on makeup and costuming during the film’s production. Her passing in 2012 makes her autograph especially rare and desirable for collectors.

• Robbie Grantham – assistant makeup artist on Star Wars, who inscribed “Asst M/U” alongside his seldom-seen signature.

Rarity & Importance:
This signed photo is extremely scarce—only a handful of examples signed by this trio are known to exist. Even more significant, the signatures of Freeborn and Blake were personally obtained in person by Steve Grad, with Grantham’s added later at a convention appearance. The result is a piece that captures not just a behind-the-scenes moment, but also the collaboration of cast and crew who brought the galaxy far, far away to life.

• Size: 8x10

• Ink: Blue

• Authentication: BECKETT LOA (AC95323) – certifying all three signatures

• From the Steve Grad Autograph Collection

Collector’s Note:
This photo stands as a museum-quality collectible tied directly to the Millennium Falcon set—one of the most iconic settings in all of cinema. With Kay Freeborn’s passing in 2012, combined with the rarity of Robbie Grantham’s autograph and Paul Blake’s portrayal of Greedo, this piece is a true rarity for the advanced Star Wars autograph collector.
