Christopher “Chris” Leith Evans is an American painter and matte artist whose career spans decades of groundbreaking visual effects work. As a member of ILM, he created matte paintings and visual illusions for films such as E.T., Star Trek, Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones, and more. He earned a Primetime Emmy Award and an Academy Award nomination for his contributions to motion picture art.
